Course Overview

This qualification is for people who want to work as an early childhood educator in a centre-based service and family day care. You will be able to facilitate play and ensure children’s health and safety while supporting their learning and wellbeing. This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

Entry Requirements

IELTS 5.0(no band below 4.5)* or equivalent

Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent in the student’s home country).

Students who have not completed year 10 (or equivalent) must have relevant work experience or a qualification that indicate a likely success of course completion.

120 hours

Prior to work placement you are required to apply for blue care (working with children check).
