Section 1: How to access QAT-Wifi on Brisbane campus

Step 1: On your mobile device / laptop , please select Wi-Fi source as QAT-WiFi.

 

Step 2: Username is your QAT student’s email. If you are a domestic student, your email will be SNxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. If you are an international student, your email will be Sxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. Your password is provided in the welcome email that was sent to you by our enrolment team. If you don’t receive the welcome email or your password does not work, please send an email to support@qat.qld.edu.au

Step 3: In rare cases, your device asks for more information, please use the information given below. Chromebook or Android phone may ask you to input the below additional information, apart from your main username and password, aforementioned in Step 2.

WIFI SSID: QAT-WIFI

EAP/Extensive Authentication Procotol Method: PEAP, not TLS, not TTLS, not PWD.

CA Certificate: Do not validate

Auto Reconnect: Yes

Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2, not GTC

Anonymous identity: Blank

IP Settings: DHCP, not static.

Proxy: None, not manual, not auto-configurated

Metered Network: Detected automatically.

MAC address type: Randomised MAC, not table or mobile MAC.

Section 2: Accessing Your QAT Student Email and Web-Based Microsoft Office 365?

Step 1: On your browser, go to https://qat.qld.edu.au/. On top right corner, select Student tab, then select “MS Teams & Email”.

Step 2: Username is your student’s email. If you are a domestic student, your email will be SNxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. If you are an international student, your email will be Sxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. Your password is provided in the welcome email that was sent to you by our enrolment team. If you don’t receive the welcome email or your password does not work, please send an email to support@qat.qld.edu.au.

Step 3: After successfully logged in, you will be redirected to Microsoft 365 Portal. You can now access your Microsoft Teams, Outlooks and other Office 365 Products here.

Section 3: How to access to E-learning Centre 1 – Moodle 1?

Step 1: On your browser, go to https://qat.qld.edu.au/. On top right corner, select Student tab, then select “E-Learning (M1)”.

Step 2: Username is your student’s email. If you are a domestic student, your username will be SNxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. If you are an international student, your username will be Sxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. Your password is provided in the welcome email that was sent to you by our enrolment team. If you don’t receive the welcome email or your password does not work, please send an email to support@qat.qld.edu.au.

 

Step 3: After successfully logged in, you will be taken to the homepage of your Moodle 1’s account. All of your current courses are shown here.

 

Section 4: How to access to E-learning Centre 2 – Moodle 2?

Step 1: On your browser, go to https://qat.qld.edu.au/. On top right corner, select Student tab, then select “E-Learning (M2)”.

Step 2: Select OpenID Connect in the green box below. You will be redirected to Microsoft Log-in Page.

Step 3:  Select OpenID Connect in the green box below. You will be redirected to Microsoft Log-in Page. Enter username as your QAT student email. If you are a domestic student, your username will be SNxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. If you are an international student, your username will be Sxxxxxx@qataustralia.edu.au. You will be redirected to QAT Log-in Page.

Step 4: Your password is provided in the welcome email that was sent to you by our enrolment team. If you don’t receive the welcome email or your password does not work, please send an email to support@qat.qld.edu.au.

Step 5: After successfully logged in, you will be taken to the homepage of your Moodle 2’s account. All of your current courses are shown here.

 

Section 5: Instruction to use Moodle 1 and Moodle 2

Students can access all course materials, assessments and other resources at any point in your studies at QAT via the New Moodle E-learning platform. Please check separate manual for instructions on how you can login to your Moodle account.

If you don’t receive the welcome email or your password does not work, please send an email to support@qat.qld.edu.au.
