The Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery provides the necessary skills and knowledge for an individual to work with hospitality industry in areas of commercial cookery as a qualified chef or cook, with opportunities to lead a small team to work in various kitchen settings.
The course provides participants with skills, knowledge and experience in practical food production, hygiene, menu costing, occupational health and safety, teamwork and basic nutrition.
IELTS 5.5 or equivalent(No band below 5.0).
TOEFL 525/195/69 (paper/ computer/ internet).
Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent in the student’s home country). Any non school-leavers must have relevant work experience or a qualification that indicate a likely success of course completion.
